The Yarbo Y40P Core is the next-generation drive platform for a property that needs more than a mower. It powers compatible mowing, snow-clearing, leaf-blowing and trimming modules, letting you build one system around the jobs your yard needs. Start with the core and your chosen task module, then expand as your maintenance routine changes.

A simpler drive system with more responsive control

Gearbox-free dual hub motors are the foundation of the Y40P upgrade. By removing the conventional gearbox, the design reduces the number of moving drivetrain parts and potential wear points. That matters when the robot is working frequently through the growing season and returning to winter duty later in the year.

The upgraded drive delivers faster acceleration and turning response, helping the core move smoothly across uneven ground and through denser grass. Maximum travel speed rises to 1.2 m/s from 0.65 m/s on Y40. This is the platform’s maximum movement speed; actual task speed depends on the module, terrain and work settings.

More rated coverage from each working day

Yarbo rates the Y40P platform at approximately 15% higher overall efficiency than Y40. With the Lawn Mower Pro module, rated coverage increases to 0.3 acre per charge, 2 acres per day and a property size of up to 7 acres when mowing twice per week. The comparable Y40 figures are 0.25 acre, 1.7 acres and 6 acres.

With Snow Blower Gen 2, rated clearing coverage reaches 7,000 sq. ft. per charge in 1 inch of snow, compared with 6,000 sq. ft. on Y40. These improvements help you plan for a larger work area, while the actual result still depends on the property and conditions. Task modules are sold separately on this core-only page.

Designed for varied terrain and regular use

The tracked platform is rated for core and mowing slopes up to 70% (35°). Dual hub motors provide responsive motion control across uneven terrain, with a simpler drivetrain designed to reduce routine mechanical upkeep. Snow-clearing configurations use a separate maximum slope rating of 36% (20°).

The manufacturer lists core operating noise at approximately 60 dB. This is a core reference measurement, not a promise that every powered attachment produces the same sound level. Module choice and operating conditions affect the complete system.

Manage supported tasks through the Yarbo app, with navigation combining RTK positioning, vision and motion sensing. Automatic recharging helps maintain the working routine. NetRTK availability and any applicable service plan depend on your location and setup. Core-only patrol and related features require the separately sold Smart Assist Module.
