Refunds, Returns & Exchanges Policy

At The Green Team (Green Team Lighting LLC), customer satisfaction is important to us. Please read our refund and returns policy carefully.
Overview
- Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase.
- If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.
- To be eligible for a return:
- Your item must be unused and in the same condition as received.
- The product must be in the original packaging.
- A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
Important: Please contact us at [email protected] and receive authorization before sending any item back. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:- Perishable goods (food, flowers, newspapers, magazines)
- Intimate or sanitary products
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases
- Digital downloads or gift cards
Partial Refunds
Only partial refunds may be granted for:- Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts not due to our error
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before shipment by contacting us at [email protected].
If the order is canceled for any reason, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from your refund.
This fee covers non-refundable charges from payment processors such as credit cards, PayPal, and other methods.
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.
Refund Process
Before returning a product, please contact us at [email protected] to request a return authorization and wait for instructions. Do not send items back without prior authorization.
After a return request is authorized you must return the product within 14 days.
Once your return is authorized and received, we will inspect it and notify you by email regarding approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.
All shipping fees, duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are non-refundable
In case the item arrived in used, installed, or damaged condition, we reserve the right to reject the return or may at our sole discretion apply a 10% restocking fee/damaged return fee, which will be deducted from any refund issued.
Late or Missing Refunds
First, check your bank account again. Then, contact your credit card company (it may take time for the refund to post). Next, contact your bank (processing times vary). If you still haven’t received your refund, please contact us at [email protected].
Exchanges
We replace items only if they are defective or damaged upon arrival.
To request an exchange, please email [email protected] with:- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photos or videos showing the defect or damage, if applicable
Gifts
If marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive store credit for the value of your return.
If not marked as a gift, or shipped to the gift giver first, the refund will be issued to the gift giver.
Freight Item Returns
Items shipped via freight or palletized delivery are subject to special return conditions:- Freight items are not eligible for standard returns and may only be returned if they arrive defective or damaged.
- All freight item returns require prior return authorization.
- Damage or defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery and supported with photos of the item, packaging, and pallet.
- Customers are responsible for all freight-related costs, including return freight, lift gate fees, residential delivery fees, and any additional carrier charges.
- Original freight shipping charges are non-refundable.
Local Drop-Off Returns
Local drop-off returns are not accepted without prior approval.
If a drop-off return is approved:- A valid return authorization is required
- Drop-offs must be scheduled in advance
- A drop-off receipt will be issued confirming receipt of the item
- Refund eligibility remains subject to inspection and approval
Items left without authorization or outside of scheduled times will not be accepted.

United States (US) - Customers are responsible for paying return shipping costs.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the shipping cost will be deducted.
- For expensive items, consider a track-able shipping service or shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
